Bladder infection...I am surprised that the doctor has tested three tmes with out treating it. If it is a bladder infection, an antibiotic will clear it in a few days.
Drink cranberry juice to help prevent themin the future. It helps to "acidify" the urine in your bladder.

Urinary tract infection, kidney stones, bladder infection.
Cranberry Juice is fine for preventing UTI, but does nothing for cure when present.
Uva ursi (Arctostaphylos uva ursi) also known as bearberry is one of the best herbs for treatment of UTI. It will also eleminate burning sensation during elemination.
For acute urinary tract infections, the dosage is 500 milligrams of the capsule (10% to 20% arbutin) or 60 drops (1 milliliter) of the tincture taken four times daily. Continue treatment until blood has stopped, and then continue for 1 week to insure all infection has been eleminated.
It is also important that you drink lots of water, at least 8 tall glasses a day and do not eat any sugar products while treating your condition as sugar can suppress the immune system.
Caution: It should not be taken with anything that will acidify the urine. Uva ursi works to make the urine more alkaline.
Not recommended for pregnant or breast-feeding women without the advice of your attending physician.
It can also be helpful for the prevention of kidnely stones, which are known to cause blood in the urine and is also used to treat bladder and kidney infections, making Uva ursi, the best herb to cover all possibilities.
After your condition is cured, use of cranberry juice will help prevent the condition returning.
Good health to you, always.

I have the same problem. You need a full work-up and a consult with a urologist. A csytoscopy can rule out cancer and abnormalities in the bladder. Sometimes there is no real reason for the trace amounts of blood in your urine. I believe my condition has been diagnosed as idiopathic hematuria-meaning they can find no reason for it. I take in a urine spec every three or four months just to keep an eye on things. Worrisome I know. Ask your Dr. for a full work-up. LOL.

Blood in the urine or hematuria may be due to a urinary tract infection or stones in the kidney, ureter or bladder. The doctor will usually request for an x-ray of the KUB
( Kidney, Ureter & bladder) or an ultrasound, or IVP, an intravenous pyelography, in which a contrast material is injected to the person to better visualize the stones if present in the above locations.
For males, prostatic problems should be ruled out.

How old are you? what kind of activity are you engaged in, Lot's of stressful physical activity/
People that are very active can have blood in their urine from their activity. Runners, IE: marathon people have blood in their urine.
I'm not saying you should ignore this, you could have a problem than again? yes, it could be from stones or other problems but, don't get to excited without knowing. Simple infections etc.
Have it checked out for sure and good luck.

you could have problems with your kidneys. usually urinary infections are the obvious thing. get your doctor to test your kidneys. this may have to be done by a biopsy though, they are painful so prepare yourself.
