the best way is to tell him but if your too shy then you should write a note or someting but if he is a kind of boys that likes to go out with friends then try being his friend then know him better in that way when you tall him you know almost all about him.

You really should tell him. You never know he may have the same feelings for you, but is too shy to say anything.
I had that happenn to me once. I was disapointed when I found out, because it was too late then.

spend some time with him, get to know his likes and dislikes, what kind of person he is. one day, ask him what type of girl hes looking for in his life. If he asks you whether you are intersted in the vacancy, be honest about it!
