If everyone wants to believe that the attacks on the World Trade Center were aimed at civilian casualties instead of the financial center of America(which finances American and Israeli military)- Why didn't they hit the bridge that was packed with people escaping and why did they wait until one of the slowest times in the day to attack?

You know, I always wondered about my son getting straigh hair, when both parents have it curly.

I think I may have been impregnated by aliens, when I was abducted. Think it may be related to the towers too?

Who are these people you refer to as "everyone"?

(1) Terror attacks are aimed foremost at creating a climate of fear, by either striking at a multiplicity of targets such as shops, schools, and centers of worship, or at sites such as government buildings, financial centers, and major landmarks. The 9/11 attack aimed towards a latter; it was aimed towards an American landmark in the most well-known American city in the world, and it was a deliberate reminder that the botched 1993 attack was not demonstrative of the real ability of the organization in question.

(2) New York, your "financial center of America" also happens to be one of the pillars of the global economy, just as Tokyo, London, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, and Singapore are. The 9/11 attack impacted far, far more than just the "American and Israeli military". The defense budgets of both are minuscule compared to the financial disruption caused by the 9/11 attack.

(3) Without belaboring far more detailed analysis, suffice to say the terrorists chose a time when both the planes they were taking would be as empty as possible (easier to seize) but packed as much as possible with fuel for their flights, and as close to the start of the regular workday (so the WTC would be filled with a greater number of people). The attack was intended to be simultaneous across three targets: The White House, Pentagon, and The WTC, striking simultaneously at the political, military, and financial centers of gravity in the United States. They had enough planes for just that job. Follow-ons for a bridge weren't in the cards (and really, hitting any of the bridges from a terror standpoint makes NO sense when there are far more plentiful and more spectacular targets everywhere across the Eastern Seaboard).

No one rational has said that the 9/11 attacks were intended to solely create as many civilian casualties as possible as a foremost goal. The objective was to strike at those aforementioned centers of gravity in the most brutal and public spectacle possible.

Your question itself is flawed because it demonstrates only that you are one of those that wants to believe in a "Zionist" conspiracy as behind all of this. You really should consider whether from your place of comfort your beliefs aren't turning you into someone worthy only of derision and contempt.

The packed bridge wasn't packed until they hit the towers. After the second strike there was fighter cover with 15 minutes and all planes were being diverted out of the airspace. Any aircraft not complying with the redirection from air traffic controllers were suspect. As far as the towers them selves: Osama didn't know for sure the buildings would fall for sure. If they didn't they would stand and burn for days looking like two huge burning torches. If they had of toppled over like a tree, how many blocks would the 110 stories have reached. 9/11 was terrible but could have been worse. If both buildings hit from different directions had of fallen the direction they were hit they would have destroyed builds for blocks and the death toll would have been higher.

1st they had to hit the Towers to make people want to escape, then there were military jets flying around to stop others attacks - just like the terrorist knew there would be. The dead Americans made the statement & we are giving the answer.

Yes they wanted to hit the financial center but through the people.

They wanted to do the most harm. People and financial, if they did not want to hurt any one 1am would have done just fine. The bridge was just many ways home not a ecape route. With the subway out walking was the only way home.

They may want to kill us, but they are really not all that smart. The ability to plan an initial attack and then a second attack on those escaping from the initial attack is WAY beyond their capabilities.

You give them way too much credit.

Well you see the reason for the attack striking when it did was because the terrorists had run out of Hash and had to land the aircraft. Dude this question is out there and I think you should give up the hash pipe also.

Or waited another 20 min to hit the towers
If you control a plane for over 2 hours, what is another 20 min!

Why are conspiracy wackjobs so intent on coming up with really rediculous ways to blame the attacks on EVERYBODY BUT THE PEOPLE WHO WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM. If you want to be angry with someone, be angry with the Islamo-fascists who caused this mayhem and rejoing the rest of the Country. This constant paranoia in no longer amusing.

One of the reasons they hijacked the planes at that time of day was to make sure the planes had maximum fuel loads for the greatest explosive power on impact.
