Yes. Post-hypnotic suggestion does work. I have seen it happen, and have even done it myself to a person that I hypnotised.

Having said that there are qualifiers. Not everyone can be hypnotised. Even those who can be hypnotised may not respond well to the post-hypnotic suggestion. The suggestion will only work, if it does not conflict with the subject's sense of propriety.

In my case, the subject said "peanuts" when I clicked my fingers, and she could not understand why I fell on the floor laughing. As far as she was concerned, saying "peanuts" was the appropriate and natural response to make, upon hearing me click my fingers.

However if I had asked her to remove all her clothes for me, she probably would have resisted the suggestion, as we were not in a relationship, and she had standards. I saw a Tom Jones fan resist the stage hypnotist's suggestion to get up and sing "It's Not Unusual" to the audience - so he was at least partially aware of the situation that the hypnotist was trying to manoeuvre him into.

I hope this gives some indication of the power of a hypnotist.

No. Hypnotism doesn't work that way. What you're talking about is a form of entertainment with the "subject" fully aware of what she or he is doing.

Yes, as long as it doesn't interfere with their morals. Of course, people can be confused to the point where they don't realize their morals are being compromized. For example, the person might take their clothes off, fully believing they are in the shower or something.

Only if they want to. Hypnosis cannot make anyone do anything they wouldn't normally be willing to do. The idea you can make someone bark like a dog whenever you snap your fingers is a myth - unless they actually WANT to bark like a dog, of course.
