For many people a belief in God may really be the only way that they can make it through. That's fine.

However, it's definitely not the case that everyone needs to believe in God to make it through. I'm doing just fine without. I suppose if I'd had debt problems or drug/alcohol problems or unwanted pregnancy or something like that, I might have turned to religious faith, but I avoided those things, and so I have no need for religion.

There are many many ways to make it through this life but only one way to make it to the kingdom of God. and that is through Jesus.

Amen eagle man! He is the best thing in my life that I have discovered. And since I have consciously put my energies into learning to be like Him, striving to love everyone around me (which u know is a challenge) my life is just peachy happy love. I have a family, a (slow) career, I'm a stay at home mom, and I'm happy & grateful. With Him on our side, ALL is possible.
Have yourself a lovely day:o]

Like just last night I was upset about this wedding we have to go to (our son has to wear a tux that during a fitting he screamed the whole time tugging at the bow tie, the vest, hates the shoes)& I'm dreading it. But i went online, & "HE" guided me to a website called "interviewwithgod" and"pathwaytopeace", they were exactly what I needed to calm my worries, He's always there, we just have to open our eyes:o]

I think everyone needs some kind of positive doctrine to live by. Many non- Christians out there that are good people so I don't believe my God is the only way.

You don't need God to make it through this life. Cain was cast out of the presence of the Lord and continued to live until he died. Sure, you'll be miserable and die empty-handed without God, and you'll die full of unpaid sins like the wicked do today. BUT, you need God to make it to Heaven, which is infinitely more important than this life in these temporary flesh suits.

Your question has to sides to it.

With God in your life:
With the quideance of the Bible being your source of how to live; you have rules to follow. With God, I find it more rewarding in the long term. I see and have had life turn for the better when man or satan tools are set against me-with far better outcomes than I could imagine. You have a goal to reach-which is obtainable-yet not easy; but anything of worth is not easy. Most people do not know how to set goals-or need more in their life than just living and working. There is a inner peace that one has with God in their life-for solid reassurance comes with love from God.

Without God in your life:

Most persons of this side have great needs-they need to feel wanted-loved-protected. Yet they rely on lies from man to prove the other. Satan will use what ever tool he can to mess with you-give you false joy-happiness and confidence in yourself. He serves such a nasty daily meal of confussion-unhappiness-poor health-addiction-fear-waste of time-lies-loneliness-despare-worry-poverty. He lies on the lies to keep you there-take that pill to feel better-drink that drink to forget and ease the pain-spend on the lottery ticket or chance the casino to get out of poverty. He lies in giving direction to hurt others ( that it is ok because no one understands), he makes you untrusting of others-hmmm what do they want from me. He makes you believe in hording not sharing your over abundance with the needy.

Just in that bit to consider-yes God is very necessary in our lives and for sure in mine. For I like as much order as I can handle-and prefer a meal of love and hope and faith daily; rather than the other.

I do. Even if we do not believe in Him, He is there watching over us. Even if we do not believe in the existence of heaven or hell, one day we will end up 'living' in one of them. Even if we do not believe in the mercy and love of Allah, it is what we will all eventually plea for.

Definitely there are other paths than that of faith and Allah that people choose to go along through life and they make it though they do not believe in Him, but this is because He does not abandon His creations even if they do.

May Allah save us all.

Peace
