Well I guess it depends on what's available where you live. If you think there is any threat of disease like rabies or distemper, you could call animal control and see what they say. I would not touch it with bare hands to remove it though no matter what, use gloves and toss them afterwards, clean where it was with lysol or something strong even if it's not a health threat like rabies because there are other nasty germs on dead things!

i would get that thing out in a hurry !
gosh ,you do not know the odor !
i had one die in my attic ! i thought the smell would never get out !
get a friendly man to get a shovel to get it out and way far away from your garage ............why don't you get it out ? are you scared? it is nasty ,but better to get rid of it and fast !!!!!!!!
