My friend gave me this number b4 she left for Switzerland and asked me to call her. I tried calling it but cannot make contact. Can someone help me find out if this number exists and who is the owner of the number. She said this goes through the GPS system. the number is 44-954-7845 supposed to be a number in Switzerland.

44 is one of the area codes for the Zurich area.
You need 00 and then country code 41 first.
I don't know if it's an actual number and I'm not going to try to find out, though.

Switzerland's area code is 41, not 44 (which is the UK).
They have a 10 digit phonenumber so you don't have the whole number.

Find a pay phone and call the number, give an anonymous name and reason for calling. But if you really want the calls to stop you 'll have to confront the calling with blunt honesty

044 can also be the new prefix for Zurich. So try 0041 44 9....... or call International Informations.
