Fry-up
After a hard night's boozing, your digestive system is under a lot of strain, so bacon, sausages and the works may cause indigestion, but fat contains lots of calories, so you will get a much-needed energy boost.
And eggs and meat are rich in the amino acid, cysteine, which is thought to be good at clearing out toxins.
Painkillers
Avoid ibuprofen and aspirin as these will just make your stomach even more irritated. Paracetemol is a safer option. Some people swear by sea sickness tablets to stop that overwhelming sickness feeling.
To be honest though you're better off avoiding painkillers altogether if you can. You've already spent the night giving your liver a good solid kicking and popping pills just gives your poor liver even more work to do.
Caffeine
Some people swear by a can of coke, cup of tea or black coffee. However, these will only make you feel better for a short time.
A hangover is a sign of dehydration... caffeine causes dehydration… ER, work it out dude!
It's a combination destined to make your head hurt.
Water
As above.
You're hungover because you're dehydrated. Water combats dehydration. Bingo!
So, if you din't drink water before crashing out, then drink a pint of water every hour of the day.
Fruit Juice
The best sort is freshly squeezed and works because it replaces lost vitamins.
The fruit sugar boosts your energy levels and may help your body get rid of toxins.
If it feels too acidic, water it down, add it to a smoothie with banana and yoghurt, or try less acidic vegetable juice.
Sleep
Try to get as much sleep as possible. Your body is working extra hard to rectify the mess you've made of your internal organs. This will make you sluggish.
If your banging headache's not keeping you awake - go back to sleep!... so your poor neglected body doesn't have as much work to do.

Try this: tomato juice (or V8 juice) with an enormous quantity of Lea and Perrins Worcester Sauce - if you can bear it, equal quantities. You will feel as if the top of you head is coming off, but you may well be relieved of your hangover.
PS: I had a friend who, having heard that milk was good for settling the stomach upset associated with hangover and Alka-Seltzer was granny's standard remedy, tried to kill two bird with one stone by dissolving Alka-Seltzer in milk. It resulted in an exothermic chemical reaction that produced what I can only describe as a tepid foaming cheese. And it did nothing for the hangover.

Take two allergy/sinus pills and two Advil. It must be the combination of the allergy/sinus, not just one or the other, because a hangover is an allergic reaction to the amount of alcohol you've put in your system. The places your head hurts are your sinus cavities, above the eyes, under the eyes near the nose, and at the back of your head near the base of your skull. Am I right? Trust me, this combination works every time.

Prevention is better than a cure.
All an hangover is is Dehydration of your brain, so when you get in & are about to go to bed have @ least 1 pint of water taking 2 paracetamol tablets too.
Also take a 2nd pint of water to bed just in case you wake during the night.
Also onion is a good thing to eat next day, on a cheese & onion sandwich or in a chineese curry

Recipe for a Hangover:
1 beer - flat ( a little salt will do) and blend in one raw egg. Down the mixture and follow it with 2 litres of water.
Place on foot on the floor if you're still experiencing head spins. For some unknown reason it helps. Avoid light and sound.

If you are close to a pub/bar. Start with a low alcohol bloody mary, use V8 instead of straight tomato juice in the mix. Then soda water with a squeez of lime and a dash of Angustora bitter. Then a big glass of water. Drink slowly and take deep breaths.
Otherwise, a weak screw driver will do about the same.
Cheers.

To eat: hot sausage roll and a bar of chocolate (preferably milk).
To drink: carton of orange/tomato juice and as much water as you can get down yourself.
It may help to have snooze-ettes in the toilets. Stand in a cubicle leaning against the wall and shut down for a couple of minutes. Don't worry about going too far... if you do, you'll fall down, people will think you've fainted and send you home.

A hang-over is mostly dehydration, and your body aching from the damage of tha alcohol. You need lots of fluids and salt. Try V-8 or gatorade type drinks along with some tylenol or Motrin
