Driving on freeways requires skill and alertness, and therefore to achieve these means one should adhere to the following main principles. Avoid taking ketamine before commencing your journey, you may feel fine, but you actually look like a slack jawed sponge monkey with the reaction times of a sloth on benzodiazepam. Secondly, ensure you aren't blind, this is of utmost importance, and failure to check this before driving may result in a catastrophic accident of such Biblical proportions that it may negate any insurance cover you have. And your cat won't like you anymore either. Driving on a freeway is not like Ridge Racer. You actually do have brakes in a real car, and that thing in front of you isn't a TV it's a windscreen that gives you minimal safety from the real world. Don't do your homework whilst driving. In fact, don't ask us to either.

Driving on freways requires skill and alertness because if you are not payin attention you could crash into another car and then you might die and when you die your children do not have a father/mother and they slowly stop loving anyone because of ther painful past nad then, when every one dies except your child and 10 boys, its up to her to re-populate the earth but she can't because she doesnt remember how to love so her and the boys live unhappily in the world. Good enough?

It has been suggested that driving on freeways requires skill and alertness.
This is clearly not the case. It is possible to drive unskliifully and non- alert along freeways. Hundreds of court cases every year attest to that.
It is arguable that it is desirable that those who drive on freeways should have skill and alertness. However, that is not the subject of this essay.
