First, proper eating habit is important in the management of heartburn. Dont skip meals. Eat small frequent feedings! Avoid coffee, milk, even juices , softdrinks & alcohol. Drink water temporarily until the heartburn is cured. Avoid sour & spicy foods. Stress can add up to the heartburn.

Hi! I am a pre-nursing student. For you case, the best way to help is to be short-term vegetarian. Because all vegetables contain lots of fibra, which good for digestion, as we know. Vegetable are contain less toxicity than Meat. Heartburn causes by too much useless protein and fat. Therefore, you need to do more exercises than now, such as, runing which can strong you body up.

Drink lots of water and eat smaller mini meals every 3-4 hours. Stay away from spicey foods....and, even milk. I have heard that milk can cause heartburn!!! You can take Tums ....that can help a little. And, try sleeping reclined and not flat...this will also help with heartburn. Your prenatal pills maybe the problem too....ask your obgyn if she switch you to another type of pill!
