There are so many descriptions of Heaven in the Quran. I know:
* it has what we have never heard of, seen or imagined
* it has rivers of milk, honey and wine that does not make you drunk
* that it has different levels based on the deeds people did in their lives and how good they were
* it has palaces and everyone will have as many palaces depending on their prayers
* the children who died in their childhood will be the ones to go around giving water to who is thirsty
* you will be in heaven with those who you love ans who were close to you during your life on earth
* that the minute you think of someone you find yourself right with them on the spot
* there is a special section only for those who used to fast
* everyone will be at the age of 33 in heaven no matter how old we were when we died as this is the prime age for enjoyment

There is much more but this is as far as I can remember for now.

Peace

I haven't seen the Heaven or has some great view about it. What I know is, it is a place where all are equal. i.e. no, religion, no caste, no conflicts on borders, no difference in black or white etc..,. And of-course there will be no Politicians and Celebrities!

I know only what I have learned from scripture. From a comparison of all scriptures dealing with heaven, I know that it is the established place of God’s dwelling. I know that those who are there have spiritual bodies and not physical ones. I know that most people want to go there because they have been taught that the only alternative is a place of fiery torment called hell.

I know that it was never meant to be man’s home and that only a comparatively few have the opportunity to go there. I know that those who attain to heavenly life have responsibilities – they are not there to bounce from cloud to cloud and have a good time.

I know that those things which humans enjoy are not to be found in heaven. Thus, there is no such thing in heaven as food, drink, marriage, sexual intimacy, pets, jewelry, movies, flowers, babies. To illustrate, there is no such thing in the heavens as gender or sexual intimacy. The Bible teaches that spirit creatures do not have gender. Moreover, if there were such a thing as sexual intimacy in heavenly life, those disobedient angels would have never left their lofty place in the heavens, come down to earth, take on human physical bodies, marry women and enjoy sexual intimacy with then. But that is precisely what some did. (Compare Genesis 6:4 and Jude 6) And they did it because they wanted what God had never granted to them. This was a gift given only to terrestrial creatures – us.

Moreover, if such things as food and drink existed in heaven, obviously these bodies are doing the same thing as human bodies . . . digesting food, producing waste. Reasonably there would have to be bathrooms in heaven – his and her bathrooms. And if females could give birth to babies, obviously females are having menstrual cycles. Where is all this body waste going? How is it being disposed of?

There is a lovely description in Revelation 21 which people take quite literally even though it is obviously not. For one thing, Revelation 21:9 plainly states that this city refers to the bride of Christ. But even if this were an actual city, speaking of gold and precious jewels, pearls of gates and so forth, would mean, for instance, that each gate – each pearl – is larger than a human. Clearly, this is not literal. This city is spoken of as being 12,000 furlongs – it is a perfect cube. This means if one were driving non-stop at 55 m.p.h., it would take 26 hours just to drive around the the city once. Clearly, this is not literal.

The city itself is 345 miles high. The wall of the city is 144 cubits – the height of a 21-story building. Clearly, this is not literal. In ancient times, city walls were built for security – to keep out enemies. So what is the meaning of these walls? They symbolize spiritual security.

I know that Revelation 20:5-6 speaks of those having part in the first resurrection and describes their duties – they will be priests and kings. Priests serve on behalf of people and kings rule over people. It is reasonable to ask: on behalf of whom will they serve? Over whom will they rule? Clearly, everybody cannot go to heaven.

I have learned that this jewel of a planet we call earth is for the vast majority of mankind. It will be restored to its paradisaic condition and man will be restored to perfection. The heavens are for God, his Son, the angelic forces and those who are resurrected according to Revelation 20:5-6.

I know that people want to be with God and some think they cannot be happy unless they are. But think about it, up until their disobedience, Adam and Eve were perfectly happy and they were not in heaven with God. They could talk to him and have fellowship but they did not live in the heavens with God. It is no less so today - it is not necessary to literally live in the heavens to be happy and to have a relationship with God.

I know if you repent, ask for forgiveness, and Jesus Christ to come into your heart, that's where you'll be going. I hope to see you there.
