A lie is a lie . And no matter what color a person wants to call them they still will come back to bite you in the *** one day. I look at any kind of lie like a ballon being held under water .What is holding it will one day slip and that ballon is going up to the surface at full speed to explode in your face.
They say a white lie is a lie one tells someone so as not to hurt thier feelings or to avoid getting into serious trouble. If you tell a person that they dont look fat in an outfit but they really do because you dont want to hurt thier feelings you really are doing more harm than good because that person now feeling like they look hot goes somewhere and gets clowned by someone because of how fat they look. It would of been better just to tell them that they look better in something else.. When you lie to someone what ever color you might want to call it , its like saying that you think that the person is an idiot and will go for what ever invented thing that you come up with. I have more respect for someone who has the balls to say the truth now matter if I like it or not than for them to treat me like an idiot and lie to me. To each his own tho. But I still say a lie is a lie and will always come back to bite you in the ***.

A white lie is told when someone thinks it would hurt the other person more than the truth.

White Lie: I went out with my friends to go bowling. I didn't feel like bowling so I sat and shared a pitcher of beer with Paul and Sam. I didn't want to stay out too late so I left early enough to get a decent night's sleep.
Fact: I went out with my friends to Club Stripperella. I didn't feel like sitting next to the stage so I sat back and drank a pitcher of beer with two lap dancers, Paula and Samantha. I ran out of money so I left early since I knew I could haul you off to bed.

A lie that's meant to be harmless. Like... "Yes you are beautiful," "You are great in bed", "Of course size doesn't matter." "You have a great personality." Most of people's compliments are pretty much white lies, consider them spoonfed bs.

Your wife or best frend asks you if her pants make her look fat. You say "no". (A white lie saves someone's feelings but doesn't cause any damage to anyone else).
