I have prayed about it
I have meditated.

I can't believe the amount of ignorance in this forum... how can people still believe that marijuana is addictive and/or kills brain cells??? This kind of people are those that are still brained-washed by the government and their parents and still believe that marijuana is exactly the same as heroin. THC (the active component in cannabis) is just not toxic enough to cause physical dependence or to kill brain cells; in the history of man kind, no one has ever died due to marijuana. But now, regarding the question here, I believe that smoking marijuana before you sleep can really help you have a nice, tranquil sleep; the only problem is that you may develop a sort of problem in which you won't be able to sleep soundly unless you smoke pot (I'm trying to be as clear as possible; I'm not saying you'll become addicted, you just may won't be able to control your dream) What I would recomend is that try not to think too much while you're trying to sleep; this kind of problems are what we call psychosomatic (a kind of Münchaussen Syndrome) which means that you create a level of though beyond your consiousness that is stored in your subconsious. Basically, this means that as long as you keep thinking "I'm gonna have bad dreams tonight", you're gonna in fact, have bad dreams. It's all psychological. Next time you're falling to sleep, rememeber this: "It's all in your head, it's not gonna happen tonight" I'll bet you it'll work.

there r to many people that don't fully understand mj. there r too many sterotypes about mj that just r not true.
doctors r finding more and more things it helps with. some r using it in theropy.
mj is made up of THC and BCD the thc is what gets u high the bcd is what the side affects are. (side effects: hunger, sleepyness, etc.) they have found they can change the bcds by breeding. u can get mj that gives u energy and don't make u hungry or tired.
example: hunger bcds they use for aids patents.

if u go to amsterdam to there coffee shops u buy mj according to what effects u want. they have menus and the types of highs a person wants.
yes u can get mj that will put u in a deep relxful sleep.
there is now 11 states that perscribe mj medicaly do some research on it before condemning it. there are hundreds of breeds avalible now.

What ever the case Ill pray for u :)
Bestof luk.

I think its ok to take drugs IF there is no other choice but its ofcourse not a cure. Closing your eyes doenst solve anything it only causes two new problems,
A) Ur problem gets worse coz of delay.
B)U get addicted to something and need rehab.

i dont think smoking weed will help. It could help by coincidence but i dont think it will do major help. Try get healthly some time before sleeping, be calm and dont think about nightmares cause that might be the cause. Try get yourself really tired by staying infront of tv or the pc with the lights off to make your eyes tired.
hope it helps
goodluck

ok well dont take marijuana. first of all its addictive and its a great big killer. i would just go to the doctor and tell him or her that you have been getting horrible dreams everynight and that you dont want to go to sleep. or if the doc. cant help you then go to therpy they can really help you. good luck but just dont take the marijuana.

For one...marijuana is probably killing those brain cells!!!
Two ...seek help for getting sleep from your doctor,if he won't help, I'd get a new doctor!
Three... there are alot of people that are having problems sleeping, they don't use pot, they use Ambien!
