Or was Hinduism just started from pure thought and meditation? Tell me how it is Divine and not just any philosophy made by men.

Don't expound on other aspects of Hinduism that does not directly address my question.

TulipGirl, when you say "saints", what do you mean? Do you mean good people or people who have been revealed to by God?

Hinduism was not started by any prophet..
Hinduism was initially not a religion. It was a way of living which is written in ancient books of Vedas. Vedas were written by intelligent saints and scientists of those times (like aryabhatta)
Slowly, stories and epics started entering which created so many Gods.
If Hinduism is understood in its entirity, you will come to know that it never asks you to follow any God or dislike people who dont do so. It tells you about how one should live in accordance with mother nature, what are the duties of parents towards children and vice versa, duties of king etc.

No prophet came for the propogation of hinduism. This religion is simply based on mythology and stories of Ram and Sita, who were male and female and loved each other. They worshiped idols and gained mental satisfaction by meditation. It is undoubtely a fact that this religion is most of anicient times and have no other background just like Mohammad or Jesus. There was no relevelation of any kind. Their temples are places of worships where hindu women come and dance before the idols and pray for their wellbeing and ask their idols for theair salvation.

Hinduism is so old that it's origins are lost in time. It is possible that it was the religion of the ancient civilisations of the Indus Valley which date back over 4000 years

I really dont think anybody knows...but the Vedas contain some verses similar to the Bible and Qur'an.

It could be that the characters in Hindu Mythology were Prophets, and over time, people came to worship them, like Christians worship Jesus.

Allah knows best.

The last of prophets in the order of time was Malachias.

Latin Vulgate
Douay-Rheims Bible

Second Epistle Of Saint Peter
Chapter 2

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there shall be among you lying teachers, who shall bring in sects of perdition, and deny the Lord who bought them: bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their riotousnesses, through whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. Whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their perdition slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment

11 Whereas angels who are greater in strength and power, bring not against themselves a railing judgment. 12 But these men, as irrational beasts, naturally tending to the snare and to destruction, blaspheming those things which they know not, shall perish in their corruption, 13 Receiving the reward of their injustice, counting for a pleasure the delights of a day: stains and spots, sporting themselves to excess, rioting in their feasts with you: 14 Having eyes full of adultery and of sin that ceaseth not: alluring unstable souls, having their heart exercised with covetousness, children of malediction
