My family use a product called 100% Natural Unrefined Shea Butter. We email naturesgifts29@yahoo.co.uk and ask for a pot. Shea Butter is good for dry skin, scars (including acne scars and surgical scars), aches and pains, nail gowth, hair growth, arthritis and much more. Even better this is all proven!! Shea Butter has more healing properties than cocoa butter so we know that Shea butter is certainly the best. When i got bitten by a dog i was left with a huge scar. I put the Shea Butter on it and in a period of 6 months the scars were barely visible. It was amazing!!!! The Shea Butter only costs about £5.00 so it is well woth the money. My Aunty had very dry feet and she needed something that would get them back to normal urgently. My aunt put the shea butter on her feet at night time and put a sock over her foot. When she woke up her feet were noticeably softer. She did this for 5 days and at the end of it had soft smooth feet and still does!!!! amazing hey!!

Use any moisturising cream. The type women use on their faces is good. Do not use a greasy cream as it only stays on the surface and makes your sock mucky and eventually smelly. It does not have to be an expensive one. Most supermarkets sell it. Use it 3 times a week to start with and then at least once a week.

If there are white parts of the skin like around the edges of your feet, you can scrape them off with a dull blade to make them go away but they'll come back after awhile if your feet keep getting a lot of punishment. Don't use a razor blade since you can't control the depth as much and can go too deep. I used an old carpet knife.

I have the same; my surgical scars still give me gip on and off, even though they were operated on over 16 years ago! I use Palmers Cocoa Butter; its fab as it drinks into your skin and helps the scars feel less painful..

Look for O'Keefe's Working Hands Cream or O'Keefe's Working Feet Cream either they worked wonders for me and only cost around 10 bucks. Plus I had tried many other kinds, and it was the only kind that worked for me. Good luck. You could also get a salon paraffin wax, but its more expensive. (the O'Keefe's had paraffin in it too)

Use an Aloe Vera based moisturiser, not any petroleum based stuff.

The Aloe Vera one will repair your skin faster and better.
