I live in northeast uk and im interested to find out how many ppl out there actually know what a parmesan is?!!!

Come on ppl!! Notice the wording 'A' parmesan! Its not a block of cheese!
And for you Steph J, get a parmo next time yr out, its a great hangover cure and you will never want another pizza after a good booze-up aslong as there is parmo available!!! LOL!
Note the subtle clues above.... YES it's a food.

I never had heard of it until I moved to the north east. never tried one yet either.
