I have a friend who is kind of big and is sending all this money to some women in the Philliappines who he met through this stupid site. Lately he hasen't been able to reach her, even though he paid for her cell phone and the minutes that go on it, and I think that he is wastig his time with her. He has already spent hundreds of dollars on her and her family. He has even been there to see her but she won't come here to see him. He is a very sweet and nice person and I really want to show him that he has some options. If any one knows what I can do to help him find a women here and boost his confidence, I would really appreciate it. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love fat, chubby guys, especially teddy bears. Take him out and show him their is women out their that love guys like himself. Not all wome go for the appearance.

I am married to a Filipina (philippine woman) and I have to say that Your freind is really NOT making a mistake. Even if he doesnt have the right woman right now, he has a good Idea. My wife and I are going on our second anniversary and we have a beautiful baby daughter. The reason she cannot come and see him in the US is complicated, but it boils down to the fact that our government still discriminates against women, afraid that all they want is to marry an american and become a citizen. My wife is actually scared to come to the US for fear of terrorism, so I live there and come to the US to work for the summer. Its the best thing I ever did, I am loved for who I am, and yes I am a large man too.
In most asian cultures, being Fat is a sign of wealth. If you can afford to be fat you can afford to support your family. Filipinas are very loyal, often even remaining faithful to their husbands after being widowed. And yes, they are sexually attracted to fat men, Our sex life is very active and mutually satisfying.
The Cell phone system over there is like nothing you have ever seen. Prepaid. Spotty Service. And expensive to use from there. One thing your friend needs to know is that incoming calls are totally free even if there is no money (or LOAD) on the phone, so if the girl is saying she couldnt take the call because no load, she is lying and he needs to move on to a different girl. I can hook him up with a QUALITY pen pal if he wants.
Also the Philippines is a beautiful place, and I am sure your friend fell in love with it as much as I have.
To all the people who responded before me, I can guarantee that NONE OF YOU HAS EVEN THE SLIGHTEST PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THIS SITUATION. You have heard through the grapevine that somebody you don't know had a bad experience. You don't know squat so the best thing to do is remain silent. I know at least 20 couples in my local area (a small town) who are shining examples of how good this situation can be. Take your negativity elsewhere.

He is wasting his time. But I bet she is affording her college studies, much the way a U.S. stripper does.

Sorry about that ^^^. Anyway. Yes, there are women who LOVE teddy bears, especially if they're nice and not grouches and have self respect and confidence. You have to be nice to be treated nice; if he's already nice, then there should be no problems, just some people will be drawn to him, some will not. Those who will not would probably be cruel to him anyway, and that's not just an assumption, I know it happens.
He sounds very sweet.... Maybe he should invest the money into some sort of self improvement or save it? Also encourage him to exercise and eat right.
Please help him be careful in the future, if it is within your power.

Yes, I love it. Bubbly & plump guys are really so adorable. Although their outlook appearances may not look nice or macho, but alot of them can be actually very charming and manly too. My man is also like that and I simply love him so much. He really looked like a teddy bear to me and I like to cuddle him so much. Alot of fat or plump guys are actually pretty nice and humourous in their characters too. I hope your friend can gain back his confidence and find his true love soon. I also know some of my friends who like big boys. So tell your friend not to worry, ask him to relax, when his designated lover comes, he'll be unable to avoid the real love. Maybe it just takes time but it's ok right? It's so much better for him to push his luck and get back fired. There'll surely be the right person for him someday. I've great faith in him but that depends if his character always remains so nice. Gd luck!

Teddy bear guys are great. Morbidly obese is more difficult for women to find attractive. I used to have a thing for bigger guys because they seemed more protective. ( i say used to cuz i am married now )
Tell him to drop her. She is obviously using him. Those women only have anything to do with american guys for money. Yes they marry them too sometimes but it rarely lasts.
He should look into the dating things online where they match you with people locally. There are lots of heavy guys and fat guys that are married and have wives that love them deeply. It isnt about looks. It is about heart. Tell him to try church too.

First, he needs to stop sending that woman money. Women in that country are gold diggers and she isn't probably just getting money from him, she probably also gets it from other foreign men.
Secondly,your friend, needs to hit the gym, start dieting and exercising regularly to loose those umwanted pounds...and then watch the women run to him.

not only is it possible, but overweight men can be very sexy. they are not all caught up in themselves like the men with the perfect bodies. i would much rather spend my time with a man, who acts like a man, and can actually talk to me. than a sex god with no brain or manners. tell you friend if he ever makes it to colorado look me up.

Uh-oh? big mistake! Most women in Philippines are like that. She is just using his money. Beleive me! First thing that you need to do is to tell your friend not to send her money, Most Filipinos do not work hard they just want a free ride. Tell your friend that he shouldn't waste his time. Find someone who isn't indigent like her internet gf. "I feel sorry to your friend"..
