I think this is a highly specific, very good question and needs a specialist to answer fully. BUT here are a few "every day " things ( which cause chemical reactions)
All Drugs can cause brain damage if taken over long periods of time.
All opiates cause eventual brain damage.
All forms of "weed" merjuhana etc.
Even salt, sugar, water in excess........
It is now thought that preservatives/colours have an accumulative effect on the brain,
nuclear fall out.........
The list is obviously endless, but I am not an expert.........Sorry.
As for abze36 answer :- lead is not a chemical, we know, but I think ray meant
as a result of 'chemical reaction'............. agreed?
