I guess it depends on the situation. If your in highschool and the person has a bf/gf, and it doesn't seem serious, go ahead and tell them you like them. I mean the worse thing they can do is say oh, I'm in a relationship, but atleast now they know you are interested.

As for more serious relationships, I think that you should leave that alone. If the person is happy, I don't think they need to know that you have a crush. The most you could probably do is just be a friend to that person. Friends are always there, and maybe it could develope into more one day, but you have to live with that fact that it might not.

p.s. thats why i don't believe in opposite sex friendships...(there are very few exceptions i.e. childhood friend), but for the most part one friend is always willing to hook up with the other at some point.

first of all...just having a crush cannot be compared to a bf/gf....
so my advice is to leave him/her...and dun disturb their relationship...
if u do that...the problem will evntually get worst and your crush might even hate you for creating a havoc..
so just forget about ur crush and move on

merely ask him. He ought to already be open to the prospect when you consider which you're saying you and he have ordinary one yet another for 5 years. you're saying he's great so he would sense the comparable approximately you. yet you will no longer be responsive to except you ask. another undertaking; has it occured to you that he would already sense as in case you and he are in a relationship? because of the fact it seems you and he are.
