There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not hold a grudge
but lives in the truth. Love is not jealous. Love is faithful in all circumstances. Love is humorous and sexual. Love knows no bounds of time- It binds hearts upon each other in warmth and grace. What is love? Love is love.

love is something we are all in at least one time or another in our life.there are many different meanings for the word love and many people interpret it differently.when you love someone you care not only about them as a person but also about their well being.when they are hurt you feel hrut and when they are in pain you feel also in pain to be in love means to care about that person so deeply that your life would not be complete without them love is a great moticator it causes us behand in a certain way towards people it causes us to risk our lives love is a complex and powerful.it often makes us be confused. love is a spiritual phenomenon,it lies within us, we cannot see it just feel it.love is ecstasy and torment, freedom, and slavery.love makes the world go round! best wishes

Caring about the wellbeing of another person.
It isn't what most movies and most songs portray love as: the desire to enjoy another person (just like they are a toy) and then when we've had our fill, got sick of them we throw them away. That is not love.
Love makes us happy. It doesn't make us sad.
