what about the men who want to raise the children they helped conceive? Why do people say men have absolutely no say in the matter when it takes two to make a child? Isn't that kind of heartless?

Because it is the woman's body. It's her body that's going to change, it is the woman who may have to take time off work or school, it is her who might have to end up on bed rest, or develop high blood pressure or diabetes. It is usually the woman who will have stigma attached to her if she decides to carry to term. It is her who will have scars and stretch marks to remind her of the pregnancy forever.
That is why it's her decision and nobody else's.

I think that if either parent wants the child, the abortion should not be allowed. I don't care if we are the ones who give up our body for nine months. Would you allow a man to force abortion on a woman who wants the baby?

A man has to pay child support whether he wanted the kid or not. That lasts 18 years. Surely nine months isn't too much to ask?

If the father wants to raise the baby and he is a fit parent, and the mother is in no physical danger but still aborts, she should be charged with murder.

Men always get the short end of the stick when it comes to the decision making process concerning children. It is harder for a man to get child support than a woman, it is harder for men to get custody to be a single parent, men are often chastised for voicing their opinions if the girl they got pregnant wants to have an abortion, or not. Ultimately the decision is up to the girl, true. BUT, to completely disregard the guy's opinion and feelings on the matter is just as wrong as the guy forcing the girl to have one.

It is heartless to say that. Don't you know those same women would be screaming for everything financially from the same guy and if he said no then she would have his butt in court. Our only problem with this is that the woman has to carry the baby. As bad as it is to think, a woman who doesn't want that baby will do everything in her power to miscarry, if she can't get the abortion. I do feel horribly bad for all those men who have had to know about their baby being aborted when they wanted to be the father and raise it

I say the reason as to men have no say in the matter is because, there is a lot of men out there that only want to sleep with the girl and then when she becomes preg. the first thing that comes to there mind is Have an abortion or I am not going to take care of it.... And that is the truth. And in the other hand there are guys out there that do want to have the child and take care of them but some women rather have the custody them selfs so the guy can support her too

I believe they should have say as to what is going to happen to their unborn child. I think if the mother has no intentions of giving the baby a chance at life then they should have to give that option to the father first then adoption. Abortion is just so wrong! and if the mother really wants nothing to do with the baby she can always terminate her parental rights

I guess it's because a woman feels that it is her body. Not saying that is right though, because at least in my opinion it is murder. If men want to take care of the baby, I don't know why women have such a problem with letting them. Both parties helped to make the baby and honestly, I think that both should have some say so in what happens to that child.

the sole reason we are all even waiting to have this argument is as a results of the fact we weren't aborted. This, no longer faith, is the source of of my opinion. >>a guy's opinion on abortion is far less valid than a woman's opinion? fake; a guy is a miles less valid be certain (or ability be certain) than a woman? fake. >>"for sure, if a woman is pregnant, her boyfriend has much less of a say than her, considering that's her physique." fake. it extremely is the toddler's physique. >>Abortion is okay in particular circumstances alongside with rape. fake. We discovered punishing a baby for his/her be certain's crimes became incorrect a minimum of three and a 0.5 millennia in the past (Deut 23:sixteen). A 9th-month burden isn't something whilst in comparison with the 18-year burden a father might choose for to handle via being professional-life. and that isn't something whilst in comparison with the 70-year life each and each persons gets to be certain directly to settle for or reject purely using fact we weren't aborted. it extremely is selfish to think of that selection for our very own income.

Here is what I think about all this. It does take 2 to make a baby and I think that it is up to both partners. But in the long run it is the girls body and an abortion can be harmful to your body. So I think thats why people say that its up to the girl only.

For the man who wants the baby? Yeah, it's heartless. For the man who wants to control a woman, it would be a weapon. If a man was concerned about bringing to term and raising a child he helped create, he would put a ring on that finger and offer a stable and loving environment.

Is he entitled to his opinion? Sure. Everyone is. He's not entitled to make the decision. While abortion has risks involved and personally, I'm not pro-abortion, pregnancy can involve higher risks.
