Because the "cool" thing to hate right now is the war in Iraq. This blatant use of unsubstantiated facts is nothing more than an idiot's way to try and persuade other idiots to believe in their cause.

Many people feel that the invasion of Iraq created a situation were sectarian violence was set loose. Therefore they lay the responsibility for all the deaths since the invasion at the door of the coalition that mounted the invasion. No matter if you agree with this or not. It is a supportable point of view. The killings in Iraq are part of the "breakage" that we incurred when we sent allied forces into Iraq. Now if these deaths were worth it in the long run is going to be decided much later in the game. But that is the position that many people take on deaths in Iraq.

Suppose for a moment you were correct (you are not correct, even the Army's high command admits half of the reported 660,000). Before we invaded how many were being killed? Saddam in his ENTIRE career was not accused of even a fraction of what we have killed. By the way 60% of Americans still believe there were WMD's even the Iraqi records show there none, the Iraqi friendly to America say there were none. Ok what about gassing the Kurds, according to the CIA Saddam did not do it. The head of the Middle East CIA office was recently fired for supplying evidence to that affect to the Saddam trial.
God Bless You and The Southern People.

Tell Simini that the Iraqi are using the weapons from Saddams supplies. Not American issue. And why do they only yell at us. How about Syria, Iran, Lebanon, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia? The militants would be out of business if Iran and Syria weren't supplying them with weapons and letting them cross their border into Iraq. Most of the insurgents we are fighting are from those countries. Never hear the whiners complain about them.

Well I think it is because everyone involved is killing others. Personally I am sad that war is happening in the first place. I am grateful to be safe at home in a free country, and have nothing but respect for the soldiers, but the loss of anyone's life due to war bothers me. War seems so atrocious, even though it may be necessary sometimes. I wish we could all live in peace, without the need for wars. I hope you are safe. Best wishes

Do you remember Colin Powell's 'Pottery barn' analogy that he told Bush? 'If you break it - you own it.'
Well, we broke it (Iraq) and now we own it Even after we leave, we will still own it. We own things we don't even know about yet because we will now be blamed for everything that ever goes wrong there - or here. Bush may end up being responsible for the deaths of 10s of millions of Americans.
He is not only Iraq's most dangerous threat. He is the greatest threat and evil that America has ever faced.

If you hit a car stopped at a crosswalk and that car kills a pedestrian, who is at fault for the death?
We are the mechanism that led to all the deaths

They would not be dead, 100s of 1000s of Innocent children, women, men, blown to bits by our bombs, then by all that went on and is going on now, if we did not attack this small little insignificant country cause of weird feelings bush had. in his mental little head. and the lies he spewed out,and they threatened Bush's daddy and to protect the Jews and further big business, and world domination and money for the war machine, and oil interests, and all the little ole things American capitalism stands for, not what the people need our wont, it is all federal. bullshit,If we didn't go over there, those people would not be dead, Lady, how would you like it if someone bombed your state, cause someone didn't like your leader, and killed your family and friends, little body parts laying all around the street in front of YOUR home. so what he was a bad leader, terrible., there are plenty of them around, look at the news, they are killing many 1000s of people in Africa. there are slaves being sold in Africa. there is murder rape. everything, but the feds wont to concentrate on the middle east to protect the Jewish state, and a lot of reason, The feds had not one reason to go there, and murder all those innocents. that was legitimate. It is plain out wrong, it should not have been done. Bush was wrong he is an idiot,

I keep saying that, too, but many repeat that it's our soldiers doing the killing. It is not. Sometimes it is, but most of the time, it's not.
