Just for the record the old army manual stated "anything that walks, crawls, or flies is edible". Imagine what a marine manual might say.

I knew about a special force that fought in the Gulf War, and they were trained to eat snakes, and thus they were called "snake eaters" or something like that. But I guess shitt wouldn' t be very vitaminic, ya know....
