will i get kidnapped in new york ?
we wanna go to new york to spend christmas but my mom says that new york is dangerous and that i will get kidnaped if we go.
she says Jesus told her that.
i've never been to new york and i wanna go but i dont wanna upset Jesus.
i dont know what to do.

No offense, but it sounds like your mom's a little overprotective. If you want to go to NY, just go! Be careful and watch your surroundings, but you should be fine! Then when you come back home safe, you can tell your mom that Jesus really wanted you to experience new place and things.
+++++Sorry, I wrote this answer under the assumption that you are over 18. If you're not, don't go without your parent's permission. But try and convicnce them that it's a pretty safe city. In touristy areas like Times Square, it's probably more safe than where you live, because they have TONS of cops and security all over the place.

There are actually very few kidnappings in New York and even fewer involving random visitors. However, it's probably not worth it to upset your mother. New York won't be going anywhere so you can visit it years from now even. Talk to your mother and see if her knowledge extends to future years or other cities.

Jesus would love it if you came to NY. Come and see the Rockettes. Oh no, that might be sinful, all those scantily clad women kicking their legs up high and stuff.
I don't think you'll get kidnapped....Come to NY and stay in the hotel all the time. If you don't go out, nothing will happen, right?

Well I am not from NYC, but I've been sever times and I've always enjoyed the city! And actually I just booked my hotel yesterday to go and stay for Christmas! It is so beautiful in the city around that time!! Busy, but beautiful!

Nobody is going to kidnap you. Jesus is not for hurting people.
There may be some valid reason to your mother, that cannot be told to you. Economical problem etc...

As much as your mum is your mum and deserves your full respect, i dont believe Jesus told her that, shez either nuts or misinformed. Jesus doesnt talk to us, only God does through the bible... no offense to your mum or to you.
