Your auntie. Although being wet could probably make you more susceptible it catching a cold. If you got a cold whenever you got wet, humans would never be able to go swimming!

colds are caused by viruses
if your body gets run down due to lack of rest and proper diet it can make you more prone to catching a cold but getting wet itself does notcause a cold

Actually being out there in the cold will not get you catch cold. Getting cold is really coming from certain viruses, for example thru shaking hands, holding other persons belongings that are already infected with those so called "cold viruses".
