Too bad no one else has followed your religion. You can go on being honest while you are getting robbed by a dishonest person. Will your honesty help you then? Honesty is about as fleeting as a god is. You search for it but can't find it anywhere. Honesty is not a religion but if you believe it is then it is fine for you. Society often forces people to do dishonest things that normally honest people would not do. It is not a pure virtue that is uncorruptable.

Do you follow your religion 100% of the time? If you are not honest every time regardless of the situation (because everybody tells white lies), then you would be a hypocrite. At that point there is a problem.

Austin: FYI - Religons are mostly based on moral standards and ethical issues.

Juicy: By your statement, then scientology is not a religion; and who are you to decide what a religion is or not? Religion is to abstract for anyone to put a deifiniton on it.

Honesty is not a religion; it is a trait that should come instinctively if you are religiously committed. However you can be honest without being religious, this does not make it a religion still.

If you are happy and comfortable, that is good. Picking and choosing from belief systems dating back 4000 years, is not a bad idea, either, if you are into study. Honesty is, however, probably not a religion, a passion perhaps. Good luck.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being honest. But I don't see how it's a religion. Could you elaborate using the additional details link? Peace.

Honesty is an honorable attribute, but to worship it???...hummm don't understand why anyone would want to worship an attribute of human behavior?...But that's just my opinion.
Personally I would rather worship the Lord God who has an awesome plan for my life! Honestly!

I don't think honesty qualifies as religion. It might be your mantra or your motto, or your way of life, but a religion? No.
