One ceases to believe in God the moment one consciously start doubting God and starts finding evidence to prove that God doesn't exist.
It got nothing to do with "feeling" the presence.
Many who claimed the "feeling" are just faking it to satisfy others and to be in their good book. It's better to be honest.

There are many, many times when I don't "feel" the presence of God. But that doesn't stop me from believing in Him. We can't trust our feelings. Even a non believer can tell you that. Just an example, but have you ever "felt" that someone was mad at you when they really weren't? Just because one feels something doesn't make it true. Peace.

If I stopped feeling the presence of God, would I cease to believe also? No, you can't erase your origin.

I haven't met anyone who has actually proved the existence of god, so to have a feeling and call it GOD is contradictory. How do they know it wasn't the feeling of static electricity on the back of their necks? The ttruth is they don't, They just ASSUME b/c that is what is taught. And "GOD" knows what happens when we all ASSUME. You theists make asses out of U and Me.
I get the same "feeling" you get from listening to music. So music must be "GOD."
I listen to Classic GOD and Punk GOD.

Not in the least, He doesn't have to make his presence known to me. There are loads of people that need to feel this in worse shape.

Emotional response is not what guides my belief in the Creator of this Universe. It is facts. Seeing is Believing.

It is not and never has been about "feeling".
It's about the logic of God's word and the perfect truth about Jesus Christ.
