I hardly drink alcohol, yet my liver rating (99) is bad. Could it be, because I drink one Monster drink almost every day.

Energy drinks are usually high in sugar. But I don't see how they can affect the liver badly. I might not be answering your question, but here is a food for thought.... do you eat a lot of red meat or have soups/other stuff that's made from beef stock or other red meat? As a kid, twice I was tested for liver sluggishness. I was asked to go easy on red meat. I quit altogether and ate only seafood. It kept me healthy and my liver never complained again...lol.

to be honest, it may be a lot of other factors that affect your liver, not just the fact that you drink a carbonted drink...

you might wanna look at some flavourings and colourings that are present in your drink which may have an affect on your liver, however it is true that a high level of sugar is present in carbonated drinks...

1 thing to note however is that the liver mainly deals with regulating and recylcing THE BLOOD, red blood cells specifically. diet does play a part, but not majorly. the only reason people who drink alcohol have bad livers is that the alcohol outcompetes liver enzymes which allow the liver to do its job..

also remember that the liver is the most highly regenerative organ your body has (i think a lecturer quoted it can regenerate upto 60% damage.).. therefore you may wish to look at genetic or hereditary factors.

ENERGY drinks ARE not bad for your liver......IF you are healthy in the first place! While they DO NOT give you energy, some are quite tasty. Should I not be able to locate a quality bottled water, I prefer Diet Rock Star or 180 mixed with ruby red grapefruit juice....50/50 as a refreshing drink.

I had this comparable subject with caffeine and that i might walk into shops and purchase heavily caffeinated beverages. It replaced into truly frustrating. What i did replaced into that each time i went to purchase some thing like that, i compelled myself to purchase a fuit drink low in sugar or a bottle of water. skill beverages have huge quantities of sugar and characteristic fairly some stuff in them that arent solid for you, and a million/2 the time human beings dont understand what the stuff is. i realize it is frustrating, yet dont drink something yet water while your at homestead/artwork or anyplace you're for the period of the day. think of of what that sruff is ding to you. Doesnt your wellbeing and your existence propose some thing to you? solid luck!
