That's a very good question! It is the same question I tortured myself over when I was deciding to become a Christian. I was very afraid I might offend God. Then I realized that was kind of silly, since the literal meaning of Christian is believer in Christ. I feel strongly within myself that everything Jesus taught was the truth from God. I decided there wasn't really a conflict after all. I need and want God to be just as Jesus reflected him to be. Now I believe Jesus is the spirit of God who inhabited the flesh of his human son, Jesus Christ while he was here on earth. His very name means "God with us". Does this help?

Jesus took the form of man,to teach what many won't believe.
He is not a man, He is King of Kings.Seated at the right and of The Father.He is eternal.
