I was wondering how many years have passed since Jesus Christ was put to death on the cross? Serious answers only please :)

Wasn't the calender changed at some point in history? Or was the Jewish calender different that our current one?

They say it is 2006 AD. Its actually closer to the 1980's. There are 365 days on man's calendar, but a year actually has 364.25 days. It would depend on how long man has been doing this. So to answer your question, he died almost 2000 years ago. Hope this was somewhat helpful.

He was born, supposedly in the year zero ( hence anything before that being B.C. before Christ ) and lived for 33 years so he died1973 years ago
