Gay: Some guys like the feel or the look. Others like partners who are shaved. So it is a personal choice.
not gay: Some guys like the feel or the look. Others have partners who like the feel or the look. So it is a personal choice.
By the time a teenage boy's happy trail has grown dark enough to see it, shaving it sometimes creates a "void" because then the hair that was growing further away from the centerline that was not shaved becomes noticable.
Also, any shaved hair creates stubble within a day or two, and that sensation during romantic interludes is distracting.
When a guy is in his 20's or older (no longer a teenage boy), his below-the-waist body hair is darker and more prominent and the "unshaved" hair becomes very noticable.
Over all, I vote that guys should not shave their happy trail.
When it comes to the bush, teens really should leave it alone. You spent the first 10 years of your life hairless down there, now, as a teenager, be proud that you have the visible mark of maturity. Show it off if you want, but don't go near it with the razor. The biggest reason will be evident within a few hours after you shave it off. Your crotch will be itching and the stubble will be snagging your boxers/briefs/bikinis and stabbing your soft-fleshy parts with a thousand little pricks. Very distracting - even if your romantic interlude is with your (or your best friend's) hand. Without being political about this, KEEP THE BUSH.
ps, if you double wash it with shampoo and then blow-dry it and use a brush, it looks terrific and smells great too. It's hair. Treat it like it should be treated. Be proud you have it.
Somebody said it makes your dick look bigger if you shave off your bush. That statement is true because when the "depth" of the bush is removed, the entire length of your shaft all now showing.
It might make sense to shave it off to impress one person but don't forget that you still have to get naked in front of the rest of the guys in the lockerroom. Even if you explain that your partner really loves the look and the feel, most of the guys will raise an eyebrow and mockingly joke that you're just weird. Is that the kind of lockerroom harrassment you would be willing to put yourself upto? And if you are not gay, they may just think that you are gay.
Remember also that when your cut-bush stubble rubs against your partner, romance fades quicker than the time your grandmother accidently caught you buck-naked jackin-off in the bathroom when you were 15.

What you are quoting is something that applied to the Old Covenant. The Bible is obvious about a New Covenant. It was even stated in the Old Testament that there would be a New Covenant. It didn't imply it, it stated the New Covenant boldly and proudly. The Book of Jeremiah states this: Jeremiah 31:31 "The time is coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. It wasn't going to be the same as the Old Covenant, because all the Old Covenant did was expose us humans as derelict, we were incapable of living by the Law of Moses. Anytime one of us persuaded that we are sinless, all we have to do is go back to the Books of Exodus, Deuteronomy, Leviticus and Numbers and pick a page to read - it will show us that we are not so perfect. We shouldn't think that we are. We are all sinners, but the New Covenant puts us in the Law of Grace. That's turns out to be the one that man needed. Because attempting to live by 613 Laws from the Old Covenant would be impossible for any of us to do. So how can Christian men shave? Like any other man who shaves. We are not under the Law of Moses.

I have shaved completely for years and most women love it. A few say it makes you look like a little boy.
