My advice, hit the thrift stores.you can go to the goodwill and find brand name clothes that has nothing wrong with them for like 3 bucks each.Call your local salvation army and see if they can help with your utility bills My mom works as a social worker at one they help people all the time.Go to yard sales you can pick up all kinds of stuff there like clothes, toys etc. At christmas put your childs name on the angel tree.they have a 50/50 chance of getting adopted an if they do they get like 4 trash bags full of toys clothes etc...when your grocery shopping sit down clip some coupons an plan your meals. Write a list that will stop impulse shopping. If your by yourself go after the other parent for child support. Find out what type of government programs are available for low income. Medicaid is a good one they pay for everything. It just really depends on where you live for what help is available. Good luck to you and God Bless.

First off don't blame your little girl for the problems. She is only a child and can not control where the money is going. I am a single parent and yes it is hard because children cost alot but I learned to budget and not buy items that are unnecessary. There are many places that sell gently used clothing, toys and shoes. I have been to many stores and have bought 10-12 outfits under $50. I also don't overdo it when I do buy her things. Thrift stores are great! So what if it was someone elses clothing no one needs to know. Just relax and put yourself on a budget this should help and help you save money too.

I assume the hardship may be due to medical bills. If it is, you may be eligible for public assistance (Medicaid, AFDC, WIC etc.)
You can also try private charities, like Catholic or Jewish Family Services. Most counties have an assistance department that can set up an appointment with a social worker who can help you find the needed services or programs.

Try going to a financial counselor and getting help. If you need to file for bankruptcy, and showing that you tried to get help, may help you to keep your house and other valuable possessions. I know baby's are extremely expensive but I don't see how a little child can cause you to lose everything. Did you apply for any kind of assistance if you were in that much of a bind?

quite, it quite is impolite to be this thoughtless at any time yet in an enclosed section with others is downright offensive. it quite is large to cough into the hands if we've antiseptic gel with us or are close to a sink with cleansing soap and warm water, yet now the medical community is suggesting we use the criminal of our arm (the place the elbow bends) so as that we're not passing off germs to others with our hands . is clever whether it does seem a touch ordinary :) Lol, Dec it quite is 'dis' discourteous :)

Excuse me but your daughter isn't the one putting you in financial hardship. It is either your weakness for giving in to her every demand OR your inability to budget your money properly. Either way, it is YOU that is putting yourself in this position.
Yes, children are expensive to raise BUT one can properly provide for a child all of life's "necessities" and not go broke doing so.
Put yourself on a budget OR talk to a professional to help you live on a budget. Stick to it.
We have three children and while it does cost money to have them we certainly don't go over board on buying them unnecessary things. If you have to, shop at thrift stores and/or used clothing stores for your daughter's clothing and toys.
It can be done. You just have to be wise on how you spend your money.

If it is your daughter..then you just have to prioritize and downgrade on certain things. Kids take money, but they are worth every cent. Don't worry, you wont lose everything and it will suck for a while, but it gets better. I went through the same thing.

No, you put yourself in a hardships, you need to learn how to tell her no, but if you want to end up on the streets keep giving your little girl whatever she wants.
