I mean if your pro-life thats cool, but why are you not for helping the American people? Support worker unions and more money put into education? Being able to see a doctor. Isn't this supposed to be the "Christian way"? But you guys complain about your tax dollers being spent on "social programs" you guys really need to take a good look at yourselves.

Aren't you tired of having to give all your money to the government? They take our money in taxes and say it will go for social programs, but instead it is spent on bribery, graft, and political advertisements. Then they have the nerve to come and try to put their hands in our pockets claiming yet again it's for the poor, homeless, and underprivileged. I have been to council meetings where officials voted themselves huge raises and then turned around and cut funding to the local food bank to pay for those very same raises. Care to think again? If you saw who came to help when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans it was the Christians, not the government. Remember how poorly FEMA performed then? If you asked everyone at the Union Hall if they were a Christian you'd get a big percentage of them who were. If you polled hospital workers it would be the same, and teachers too. Being a Christian doesn't mean we oppose good things.

Most real Christians are only trying to spread the word of God to everyone so that they may be saved and have everlasting life instead of eternal death in hell. Most real Christians don't ask for money. In fact the real truely saved ones practice religion in their homes to avoid getting involved with some greedy minister that might be teaching the wrong things. This is what our group does anyway. Some of us even home school our kids. We are not trying to regulate your lives. Alot of people have something sarcastic to say at the mention of God or Jesus or even being saved. They think we are trying to push it on them. We honestly don't care if they reject our invitation, but instead we feel sorry for them on judgement day and pray that they will turn around and take a second look.

Most of us try not to see a doctor if at all possible because we pray to God to heal us and trust me it works!

Read the Bible and you will know that in the Old Testament God provided for the Isrealites trying to escape from the enemys. He fed them, etc. If the whole world would just trust in God we would not have this "wanting money" thing going on. If True Christian leaders were running the country we would not have all the evil going on with the government. Face it, satan is turning people away from God in order to get as many souls as he can in hell. The smart people believe in God and accept Jesus as their saviour and trust in the Lord for everday things that life brings. In the end their faith will be rewarded.

You are generalizing. There are some professing Christians that behave the way you describe. But Jesus taught that the FIRST thing you do for someone is take care of their physical needs. And, most of the Christians I know do just that. But, no worries. All of us make broad, generalizing statements. (I know I have and I'm sorry) All we can do is try to, as much as lies in us, have peace with all mankind.

I don't know who you are talking about, but I think you mean conservatives.

Most Christians I know volunteer in the community, help poor and elderly people, and give money to charitable causes. Maybe you should find a church to get involved with and pitch in. It's a lot better than pointing the finger and complaining.

My God allowed His son, Jesus, to die for all of us, even you.

What have you done for mankind lately?

People who take their Christianity seriously do want to help people. If they truly follow Jesus' teachings, they try to love their neighbours and take care of their own sins before worrying about anyone else's.

People who call themselves Christians but only use the Bible as a weapon to beat other people over the head are not worthy of the name.

I think you might be referring to Repubicans, not Christians. I am a socially conservative Christian that supports alot of the programs you are talking about. And I don;t think I am the only one!

You shouldnt generalize things about people you dont know.I've taken people into my home given money and other things.(including a ford van) and I earn only 13 thousand a year.Just because people like me dont shout it from the rooftops doesnt mean it doesnt happen.
