I am a Christian trying to figure out a girl I have been witnessing to has started opening up to me and I has shared sexual abuse and rape. Where do I begin to help someone like this? Let me know if you can help. Serious answers only please. This isn't really an issue to take to the police because of how long its been. Just want to help her get through it.

First she must want help, then since all our true help comes from the Lord you need to help her understand what help you are given is from the lord and for her to develop a relationship with God for herself so she won't overburden you.
I don't care how much faith you have,if someone isn't working on improving them self it will eventually get you down.
Usually self pity is the spirit behind someone not getting over something devastating like this.
You have to get her to realize what is really going on that thoughts of the past are a way of keeping her from moving forward for healing.Something like this can never be forgotten but can be overcome.

I am a Christian girl too- and I have been in the same situation! I have had up to seven people come to me for counsel in one week, and sometimes it overwhelms me.

First of all, pray about it.
Second of all, don't ever ever talk to someone beyond your own experience. If you can't identify with the person, let them know you care and help them find a professional counselor.

i'm particular in his ill recommendations he concept he became in the sparkling by way of fact the garments stayed on. yet particular it is sexual abuse, you may communicate with somebody,i've got self belief you, however the down area is greater desirable than in all risk your loved ones will call you a liar and say you basically want interest. That regrettably is the main hassle-loose reaction.it quite is much less complicated for them to have self belief undesirable of you than to have self belief the reality. i think of your maximum suitable guess is to flow directly to the government.Police or a instructor.in case you flow to relatives first they are going to easily attempt to close you up. do no longer take a while, yet time is on your area, there isn't any statute of obstacles at this style of habit.

Ask her if you can help with her rape and abuse. She might not really want you to help with her rape and abuse.
