This is a very good recipe for homemade pizza sauce.
We use this all of the time and it great.
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
6 fluid ounces warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon anchovy paste
3/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
salt to taste
DIRECTIONS
In a small bowl, combine tomato paste, water, Parmesan cheese, garlic, honey, anchovy paste, onion powder, oregano, marjoram, basil, ground black pepper, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes and salt; mix together, breaking up any clumps of cheese.
Sauce should sit for 30 minutes to blend flavors; spread over pizza dough and prepare pizza as desired.

You can usually get pizza sauce near the tomato paste in the supermarket. I prefer to make my own sauce but if I'm being really slack I'll often use those fresh tomato pasta sauces that you get near the garlic bread & fresh pasta in the fridge section.

I like to use is two cans of diced tomato's that has three different herbs in it. Then I put it into a food processor, and that will become your pizza sauce.

nobody uses a pizza sauce in Italy. You only need canned tomatoes, mozzarella, capers and anchovies. And oregano on top. The tomatoes should be proessed into juice. If you don't like capers and anchovies, don't put them, but don't forget the oregano!

You don't actually need to buy a sauce at all - just choose a good cheese to grate, and your other ingredients will come to full fruition (if you have nice ones, and some spices).
