I think it's all in your mind...if you truly are ready to quit smoking then you can do it...you can do anything you want as long as you set your mind to it...and if its one of your goals then by all mean's you should try your hardest to achieve it

To quit smoking you don't need any help of using patch, gum
etc. What you need is to know that smoking is bad for health
and it causes lunch cancer which is untreatable. Thus, you
have to be strong in the mind and not succumbed to smoking
again.
Think positive and remain strong mentally when you've decided
to stop smoking completely.

I think you should do whatever it takes to quit smoking. If you need chemical help, then so be it. I tried many times after smoking for more than 2 decades. Ultimately, Nicorette and Committ losenges did the trick. I quit only last April, but that's a long time ago compared to other times I tried to quit. Most of all, don't take anyone's advice on HOW to quit; just go at your own pace and do what works for you.

its all in your mind. my husband and i quit smoking 2 days ago...i wanted one but held out. then he comes home from the grocery store tonight and had bought a pack - i could have killed him. so now, what am i doing? smoking. its a mental thing. if he hadn't bought the pack then i still wouldn't be smoking...but since they were here i was like "what the hell i'll have another..."

Keep telling yourself "If it is to be - It's up to me!"
Try whatever is out there to help you, a strong will to give up is probably the most effective patch.

I think you oughta just use lighter level ciggs, and then use each level less and less until you're smoking the lightest kind not thast often.

But my b/f swears on Wellbutrin, its the only way his father quit, lol.
