Sounds like you could use good conditioner.

You might want to use something for after you dry your hair. And your Shampoo might be bad, too.

If you think you want to straighten it with chemical straighteners it will make it worse,.... completely unmanageable. It make even make your hair snap off.

Flat plate straighteners can make hair FRIZZY,.. so if you do that your hair will get worse.

You should ditch Brushes, they create static that create frizz. You should try combing your hair while it's wet and NOT useing a Blow/Hair Dryer as those dry out hair,.. let it air dry. Then hopefully you will have will power not to comb your hair alot while it's dry.

Atleast try this for a couple months to give your hair a break.

If your really serious about straightening your hair, go to a Salon and get a relaxer treatment. But those can some times wash out other chemicals and treatments so if you have curled your hair it will remove that and if your wearing hair color it might weaken your hair color.

weak and brittle hair needs a cream pack. This will help close the cuticle of your hair and will add strength body and texture.

What you do, is you put the conditioner on damp hair and then put a plastic shower cap on. In 3 hours rinse with 25% vinegar and 75% water.

Your hair will feel and look much nicer after.

I think a flat iron is the lesser of 2 evils here...try coating the hair rior to using the iron with a good "heat active" style cream or gel prior to using

No, you should not use a flat iron on your frizzy hair. Instead, use extra moisturizing conditioner and while your hair is still damp, use citre shine anti-frizz serum. It does wonders for my hair =)
