i want to scan images and save them in disk. how do i do it? what are the steps?

well its all down to the scanner software since there is so many different programs out there, best idea is to read its help file eg open the scanner program from your all programs list and choose the option that says help or support and then read about scanning, since normally when u scan a photo or what ever it will ask u what u want to do with it eg save to disk, email, fax etc.

Switch on the scanner button. Double click your scanning software. Click the scan button.It will show you the preview.Click the save button. Now right click the file you have scanned click 'send to' option and click your writer drive letter. Then open my computer double click your writer drive and click the link "Write these files to CD."Follow the instruction given by the wizard.

scan the image then if you want it on cd disk put a cd (rw) disk in the drive right hit on the driver then move the image to that open window . then on the top of the open window hit on file > write these files to cd hit on ok .. then it will put the image on the cd (rw) disk for you

Amanda hello: when you has an image to save use
http://yahoo.myimage.com they are files to down load safely
because any way http://yahoo.mysoftware.com is best diskett
that everyone uses for windowsxp98-95 computers desk tops
and notebooks too.Very easy to follow here go to task bar
on top click on file first then scroll until it says open click once
then second find veiw click on it, third look for down load
