Nitin was right in his approach, but erred in the answer ~
Fist number the bags serially from 1 to 10. Collect coins 1 from 1st bag 2 from 2nd bag . . . . . 10 from 10th bag.
weigh the total coins collected thus. Subtract 55 from the total weight of the such sample coins. Reminder is the number of the bag - containing the counterfeit coins.
ex: if you get total weight of 65 grms, the bag number 10 contains counterfeit coins (ie., 65-55)

Keep all the bags in the Pan to get 110 gms of weight on the scale. Now start removing each bag one by one...you will see the change of reading decresed by 20 gms the moment you remove the bag with fake coins, with the bag with normal coins the difference would be just 10 gms.

first number all the bags in order from 1 to 10. Then take coins from bags according to their number . ex. one from bag1,9 from bag 9.
Then weigh them the bag has to weigh 550 grams . the more you get divide it by 2. you get the bag number of the counterfeit coin..

I think by lifting each bag, I will be able to tell the difference....
the one with the counterfeit is twice the weight of the normal ones....

I don know what is the reason for the set of scales but i think it is just for checking....

Think i got it wrong... hehe

Yeah sure, what is so hard. If the reading says 20g, then it contains counterfeit coins and vice versa.
