corona yet cool and refreshing is a good starter beer but the mexician beer i tend to choose is the modelo negra little on the dark side.
so much more to choose from besides corona
tecate
modelo
sol
dos xx
bohiema
carta blanca
victoria
all of these tend to be a better tasting beer with or without the lime or lemon garnish

I just spent a week in Cancun Mexico and Corona, Modelo and Sol are the only beer they offer. All three taste exactly like corona. At first I loved it, probably because when in rome do as the Romans do, however after the week was over and I went home and had a Bud, i was in heaven. I completely forgot how different the two are and the fact that there is so much more taste from American beer.
So in short, I can never be a loyal corona drinker

Why would anyone drink swill is beyone me. There are sooooo many better beers out there. If you like the way it tastes, try something made in America like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Three Floyds Pride and Joy, Blue Moon, Bell's Oberon....they are all mild tasting without much hoppy flavor...well, except for the Pride and Joy...

No, and I don't understand why people do. There's much, much better beer out there. Corona is not even Mexico's best. Have you tried Tecate?

surely you are joking. I can not believe any one would drink it, if its so good why do people need to put a lemon into it.
Try Becks ! or Stella, even Fosters is better than Corona.

Apparently a lot of people like to spend 8 bucks for that bottled ****. Oh and don't forget the 5 lime wedges to kill the adjunct flavors.

My favorite beer - only it's a heck of a lot cheaper to drink in Mexico than here in Arizona...

I heard a joke that "carona" is Mexican for "urine". I don't really like the taste of it & there's heaps better beers out there for the money.
