I would say waxing, threading, hair removal creams or electrolysis.... Their all painful in their own ways.... For Electolysis; you will need to return for several visits. The total number of sessions needed to remove hair permanently from a particular area will vary from person to person. Most clients return once a week or every other week, as necessary. But the unwanted hair will be gone forever once the series of treatments have been completed. Each treatment lasts between 15 minutes and one hour.
Temporary methods of hair removal are better. The truth is, chemical depilatories (liquids or creams) are often used to remove leg hair. These products may work well for the legs but cannot be used on the face. Depilatories contain irritating chemicals, and they also can be time-consuming and messy. Likewise, bleaches contain harsh chemicals and do little to disguise dark hair. They may also discolor the skin. Waxing is another temporary method of hair removal and is usually done in salons. A hot wax is applied to the skin and removed once it has dried over the hair. The hair is stripped off when the wax is removed. Waxing can be painful and costly. Home waxing kits are available, but they can be difficult to use and messy.

Temporary methods would be waxing , using depilator(hair removal) creams or bleaching to lighten the hair.
Permanent hair removal may be done by electrolysis(which is time consuming). The newer method for effective hair removal is laser therapy. It is quick, safe and painless but it is expensive and requires 3-4 sessions 2 to 3 months apart.
If hair growth is extensive and u are having excessive weight gain, irregular periods it is advisable to do a hormonal study after consulting a doctor.

Think about electrolysis, a permanent hair removal method in which an electrical current is used to destroy the hair root. Several treatments may be required over a period of time, as each hair follicle must be destroyed individually.

There's this latest technology on hair removal.. consult a dermatologist or a cosmetic surgeon about this.. its called laser hair removal.. they will just exposed the affected skin on the laser and the laser will kill the hair follicle on that part of the skin.. its totally safe and 100% effective.. this will permanently removed your hair.. but the number of sessions would depend on the thickness of your hair.. i think 3sessions would do for a normal hair type..

Bleach. Use a good quality facial bleach and get it done at the parlour if doing for the first time. Try Fem's oxybleach.
