I ask a hypothetical question to this crowd, expecting hypothetical answers, and all I get are excuses as to why my HYPOTHETICAL question would not occur. It's a damned question, use your minds and just say what you think, don't tell me "God would never let this happen."
Here's the question by the way: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Anz0M3x26bu5tPqDTD56SXvzy6IX?qid=20061027233706AANlzZf

Yeah, it's been a month since I've been on, and I've noticed it's changed a bit. Still, I wish some people would lighten up a bit.

Keep in mind my favorite quote: "The mark of an educated mind is the ability to entertain an idea without accepting it", Aristotle. I always think of that when I'm on here...mentally culls the herd.

You are right and they are wrong in that God would never let this happen because it did happen. It is in Genesis. But as to would an abortion be ok well, I imagine an abortion would be ok since having a baby with horns and a tail would be very hard on the girl. I know about labor believe me.

One Among the Fence,
Okay. I write. It's not a new idea, but I could come up with a story here. Another movie to watch is a Stephen King TV miniseries called The Stand. And it's one of my favorites. The devils woman . . . oh, spoilers. Nevermind.
If it was the devil's child, then yes, defeating the devil would be a reason to abort. . . . . if you could!

I would say no,abortion would not be right...because God would never punish His people for obeying His word. Obedience is always best, no matter what. We should obey God regardless of the consequences....as illustrated below...
16Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. 18But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up." (Dan 3)
They chose the furnace over disobedience....(and were not burned)

LOL! I wanted to answer your question; but I would've had to include a footnote to explain to everyone that it was HYPOTHETICAL (clearly so since you started out with "So, let's say") and decided it wasn't worth it to get reported for pointing out the obvious to those who already did NOT answer your question. I honestly believe that some people answer questions without READING them first; REALLY reading them.

Tee hee. You drop rocks in the pond very well. Although I have to tell you, there are some people on here who aren't smart enough to have a sense of humor.

I thought it was:
1. A really good question
2. Not going to be answered (because it puts people who believe that way in a conundrum)

Oh well. I guess that is just the way it goes. Maybe not everyone was in the mood to play. Ignore the answers you are not looking for and move on.
Oh, and... 'Yes', to your question.
