Biblical prophecy on the advent of Muhammad (PBUH)

John 4:15-16
“If you love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father and He shall give you another Comforter that he may abide for you forever.”

Muslim theologians have said that “another Comforter” is Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah; and him to “abide forever” means the perpetuity of his laws and way of life and the Book (Qur’an), which was revealed, to him.

note: ANOTHER COMFORTER, means another not the same (holy spirit)

John 15:26-27
“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.”

note:conforter + spirit of truth

John 16:5-8
“But now I go my way to Him that sent me and none of you asketh me ‘whither goest thou?’ But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled you heart. Nevertheless I tell you the truth; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and approve righteousness and judgment.”

John 16:12-14
“I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now. How be it when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and he shall show it unto you.”

note: in the Quran God says that Muhammad is not talking from himself, also God revealed the Quran to him trough the angel gabriel because he was illetrate he couldn't write and the prophet recited each verse and chapter he received to people in a periode of 23 years without any contradiction

John 16:16
“ A little while and ye shall not see me: and again a little while, ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.”

Muslim theologians have stated that the person who is described by Jesus to come after him – in the above verses – does not comply with any other person but Muhammad (PBUH) the Messenger of Allah. This ‘person’ whom Jesus prophesied will come after him is called in the Bible ‘Parqaleeta’ This word was deleted by later interpreters and translators and changed at times to ‘Spirit of Truth’, and at other times, to ‘Comforter’ and sometimes to ‘Holy Spirit’. The original word is Greek and it’s meaning is ‘one whom people praise exceedingly.’ The sense of word is applicable to the word ‘Muhammad’ (in Arabic).
note1: Muslim are waiting for the return of Jesus who will brake the cross and bring all religions toghether in one way the true path the submission to the will of God wich means Islam in arabic.

note 2: be carefull with the deletion from the bible and addition and misinterpretation .

Mathew 19:16-17 -
" And behold, one came and said unto him, 'Good master, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?' And he said unto him, 'Why callest thou me good? (There is ) none good but one (i.e) God, but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.'"

In the above verses we note this acknowledgement of his submissiveness (to God's Will)
Mathew 21:45-46 -
"And when the chief priests and pharisees had heard his parable, they perceived that he spoke of them. But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared teh multitude because they took him for a Prophet."

Here it is proved that all those who believed in Jesus during his lifetime did not believe in him being God or the Son of God or one in the doctirne of Trinity; but they believed in him as being a prophet only. This is indeed one of the strongest points of evidence against those who believe in teh Divinity of Jesus (Incarnation of God) if only they pondered.

Mathew 24:36 -
"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no , not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."

This is a definite proof that the Final Hour is unknown to any but Allah, thus Jesus knowledge is imoerfect like all the other men; Allah Alone is All-Knowing, Omniscient.
Mathew 26:39 -
"And he (Jesus) went a little farther, and fell on his face and prayed, saying, 'O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not is a servant of Allah. He (Allah) Alone can cause the change.'"

the Bible (theNew Testament) was not written during Jesus's lifetime but long after the occurrence of the events described, having been retained in the memory of the people.

I'm not sure what you are asking as your question seems more like a teaching than a question. Also, I can't tell if you are coming at this from a Christian viewpoint or a Muslim viewpoint. So, I will only tell you what my experience has been. I've been Born-Again for 32 years, and over the time, as I have grown and matured, the Holy Spirit has spoken to me, once audibly, and the many other times, in my Spirit.

You ask how I know it was the Holy Spirit's voice I was hearing? Since the power of evil would never give glory to God, to have the voice speak so clearly to me of how to live a Godly life, or leading me in worship and praise to Jesus Christ, and also that everything that was spoken was in agreement with the Holy Scriptures, I would surely conclude that I was hearing the voice of God.

You're complicated 2 exclusive matters right here. There's the preliminary baptism within the Holy Spirit in which you obtain your prayer language and with this you'll pray in tongues any time you desire. In 1st Corinthians 12,it describes the manifestation of the presents of the Spirit. One of them is a message in tongues and the following one after that's the translation of that equal message. These are 2 exclusive operations of the Holy Spirit.Everybody who gets the baptism within the Holy Spirit must be competent to talk in different tongues.

Very poor argument I am affraid...These were all taken out of context...what about the following?

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son." (john 3:16)

"John 1:1) "In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God"...the word is in reference to Jesus as explained a few verses after.

Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.” (Matt 14:33)

Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” (matt 16:16)

Then they all said, “Are You then the Son of God?” So He said to them, “You rightly say that I am.” (luk 22:70)

No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. (john 1:18)

“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (john3:18)

Jesus is not a mere human, he is the Only Begotten of the father...Him and the Father and the Holy Spirit are 1 God...not 3, but One...Just like a fire has flame, heat and light, yet they are all One Fire...But just becausee he destinguished between Himself and the Father, does not mean that He separated Himself from Him nor negated his deity. And when He says that only the Father knows the end of the world, well, is in it True that He promised to be back to judge the world? Is there a single human being worthy of judging the world except God Himself? How would Jesus be judge of the world unless He is God Himself, knowing when it is, and how he will judge? He only said that only the father knows the day and the hour do destinct the personal deity of Himself to the father.
I know this is hard to understand, because you are seeking to understand it with your own limited capacity...Only God can revele to you how it works, if you ask Him...do not knock it, research it fairly.

as for your original question as to if the Holy Spirit speaks, yes He does...He is the Spirit of God, the comforter, not Muhamed, as you somehow think:
As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” (Acts 13:2)
And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. (luke 1:35)

should I keep going??? I think you get the picture...and all these phrases were said by Christ Himself...The answer to your question goes way beyond the limitations of this forum..but let us just say, that you have taken things out of context and not within their entirety as meaning.

Open your eye and your heart and try to make a new sound judgement...God bless you my friend.

Regarding your first quote from scripture, which is actually John 14:15-16, you left something out:

John 14:17
that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.

Notice the upper case treatment of He, Him, common to references of deity, also that the spirit cannot be seen, and that it abides in you, not among you. There is no conceivable way that this could refer to Muhammed.

Regarding Matthew 21:45-46, your 'definite proof' is much less definite than you claim. Many people who had heard about Jesus during his lifetime did consider him to be a prophet, but not all:

Matthew 2:2
"Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him."

Matthew 2:11
After coming into the house they saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell to the ground and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasures, they presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Matthew 14:32-33
When they got into the boat, the wind stopped. And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, "You are certainly God's Son!"

John 9:37-38
Jesus said to him, "You have both seen Him, and He is the one who is talking with you." And he said, "Lord, I believe." And he worshiped Him.

Matthew 16:15-16
He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

The New Testament wasn't written during the lifetime of Jesus because his living ministry preceded his crucifixion and resurrection, two key elements of the Christian faith that account for the forgiveness of sins and rebirth as children of God. It could only be written after his death.

Based on your own information, it appears that Muslim theologians are propounding false interpretations of scripture. As a person of faith, you would do well to beware anyone who indulges in such practices:

2 Peter 2:1
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.

In mainstream Christianity, the Holy Spirit is one of the three divine persons of the Holy Trinity which make up the single substance of God, the others being God the Father and God the Son (Jesus). The Holy Spirit is different from Jesus in that He does not have a physical manifestation (or incarnation), and that He frequently dwells in and amongst God's people as a spiritual guide or a Comforter.

Christians believe that the Holy Spirit leads people to faith in Jesus and gives them the ability to lead a Christian life. The Spirit dwells inside every true Christian, each one's body being His temple (1 Corinthians 3:16). The Holy Spirit is depicted as a 'Counselor' or 'Helper' (paracletus in Latin, derived from Greek), guiding people in the way of the truth. The Spirit's action in one's life is believed to produce positive results, known as the Fruit of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit manifests these gifts by enabling a person to access his or her own innate abilities. Through the influence of the Holy Spirit a person sees more clearly the world around him or her and can use his or her mind and body in ways that exceed his or her previous capacity. A list of gifts that may be bestown include the charismatic gifts of prophecy, tongues, healing, and knowledge. These gifts can not be viewed as purely charismatic however. Christians holding a view known as cessationism believe these gifts were given only in New Testament times. Christians almost universally agree that certain more mundane "spiritual gifts" are still in effect today, including the gifts of ministry, teaching, giving, leadership, and mercy (see, e.g. Romans 12:6-8). In some sects of Christianity, the experience of the Holy Spirit is referred to as being "anointed".

Jesus describes the Holy Spirit as the promised "Comforter" (i.e. "strengthener", "fortifier") in John 14:26. After His resurrection, Christ told His disciples that they would be "baptized with the Holy Ghost", and would receive power from this event (Acts 1:4-8), a promise that was fulfilled in the events recounted in the second chapter of Acts. On the first Pentecost, Jesus' disciples were gathered in Jerusalem when a mighty wind was heard and tongues of fire appeared over their heads. A multilingual crowd heard the disciples speaking, and each of them heard them speaking in his or her native language.

In John's Gospel, emphasis is placed not upon what the Holy Spirit did for Jesus, but upon Jesus giving the Spirit to His disciples. This "Higher" Christology, most influential in later development of Trinitarian doctrine, sees Jesus as a sacrificial lamb, and as coming among mankind in order to grant the Spirit of God to humanity.

Although the language used to describe Jesus' receiving the Spirit in John's Gospel is parallel to the accounts in the other three Gospels, John relates this with the aim of showing that Jesus is specially in possession of the Spirit for the purpose of granting the Spirit to His followers, uniting them with Himself, and in Himself also uniting them with the Father. (See Raymond Brown, "The Gospel According to John", chapter on Pneumatology). In John, the gift of the Spirit is equivalent to eternal life, knowledge of God, power to obey, and communion with one another and with the Father.
