The truth, however, is that love does not hurt but it is the falling out of love or not having love that really hurts. HEARTBROKEN-maybe things weren't GREAT AS YOU THOUGHT.

Because we put so much of ourselves into something, and then when we lose it, it's painful.
But the wonderful thing about the human spirit, is it HEALS. You don't feel like it now, and the heartbreak is overpowering. It HURTS, and it hurts badly.
But I promise you, with time, the heartache will start to ease, and you'll be attracted to someone else and you'll look back and be so glad that this one broke your heart, and led you to the one you're meant to be with.
There's a song that says "God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you." When you meet the right one, you'll know exactly what that means.
My son thought he would die when he and his gf of 2 years broke up. But God knew that she was not THE one. Now, he has his first child on the way, and we were talking tonight about how if things had gone the way he thought he wanted, he would not have this person and his baby coming now!
Be strong...you can make it through this pain, and come out stronger for it.

Accidents will happen, especially when you are not very experienced and you are still learning how to do it well.
If you've ever observed a young child learn how to walk, then you will know that walking can also hurt a lot.
You don't remember how hurtful walking can be because you are now very experienced and good at it.
It works the same with love. You have to learn from your experiences and become better at it with every failure. And eventually love will become a very positive experience for you, just like walking is for you now.

It is what makes us human,,, it's emotions,,, I've been through it,,, don't like it ,, as you get older you build walls to protect yourself from the hurt but that also make it harder to feel loved or love,,, Was married 20 years,, she had an affair and left,,,, I wanted to die the pain was so bad,,,, the kids kept me going I had to raise them,,,, the pain has gone but the scares are still healing........ if you feel the pain that means your still human and that is a good thing,,, you'll do OK time helps but keep busy and move on build friends don't dwell on the past

because it's not worth it if it doesn't hurt...good thing ultimately requires sacrifice or loss of some sort to make it worthwhile, as ultimately all things must end. Also think about this; if there’s no hurt at the end how do u know for sure there is love? For that matter, is it love if it doesn’t hurt at its end? It’s like this: we need black to see white, ugliness to see beauty, and in order to love we must also have hurt because if there is no hurt then love is meaniless.

Love hurts, cause when you share feelings/emotions, and sometimes have a physical bond, you grow accustom to it. And it's comfort. Its safe, then when its ripped away from you, you often feel lost, and vulnerable. Because you don't know how to feel without that certain person.
You spent so much time with one another and you love them and they love you, it feels like you'll never have that feeling again and personally thats why I think it hurts.
Don't worry , the feeling fades with time. Get out and have fun, forget your problems and concentrate on enjoying life.
Feel better....

it hurts beacause you've grown on to someone, and its like you've been ripped apart from that person. Leaving you with a heavy felling in ur chest and u feel empty inside. I hope u feel beter thou, things will get better, trust me. Take care of yourself (treat ur self to something... that helps. I got over my girl by taking up kickboxing- it realeases u of that heavy feeling)

Because if it didn't hurt, it wouldn't be worth it's weight in gold. It's priceless and the best things in life really aren't "free", so to speak.
