Yes, It has been done before. A 12 year old went into the woods and asked God to show him the true religion. He was confused by all the different religions and unsure which was right for him. The boy recieved a vision from the Lord in which the Lord gave him instruction. This boy's name was Joseph Smith, first latter day prophet. There is a challange at the end of the Book of Mormon in the Book of Moroni which I think everyone should consider. It can be applied universally. It says that after having read this (or being informed of something) kneel in prayer and ask the Lord whether it be true or not, for ask and ye shall recieve, knock and it shall be opened. BTW ask and ye shall recieve is one of the most common phrases in scripture. If you were curious.

Well, if you are going to ask God a question, that is part of prayer, so you kind of know that your true religion is following God. Everyone is right though. You just hve to be quiet long enough for Him to answer. YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT TRACK.

There is "NO" True Religion! God has "NO" religion!
Religion is man-made!
If you really want to know if God really exists... you must read the Bible and then... decide for yourself! There is no other way!
Then, you can visit different churches and decide which one fits your understanding of the way "religion" should be.

u mean to pray god , yes yes but he will not answer u like talking , but he will show u signs just be so honest in the way u ask god and be sure that he is the all hearing and alll knowing.

He already did that. He sent his son to this earth to die for our sins. He proved that he loved us when he made that sacrafice. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Do you need more proof than that!

you can ask anything you want. god won't answer because he's gonna "test your faith." either that or he simply doesn't exist. either way, you're pretty much s.o.l. on finding true religion.
