ah you seek to divide and conquere
what is there to be angry about?
in truth see the sand of the hour glass runs out
our leaders know they served mammon/not god
the religions they sought to con-troll man has teeth
the seperated teeth come together as one
anger is a natural reaction ,why have they divided us so long
made us hate our brother ,indeed kill our own flesh
given man lies when truth was well past its due time
one under god
yet they still seek to divide the spoil
think people dont feel passion
know god is real?
what do you want love when hate has such sweet rewards of the flesh
people are feeling the passion rising
religions have kept us appart
why?

Seems ridiculous doesn't it? You'd think that "religious" persons wouldn't harbor so much anger and hatred. At least that's what I think. This world is made up of so many different types of people and the majority of them that I've met claim to be of specific religions but they really aren't. They were told growing up that the were of a certain religion and repeat it as if it were a broken record. They don't actually live the life they claim to. Heck ... most don't even know right from wrong but they think because they've been baptized, etc. that they are right and all knowing. What they don't realize is they are going against what God teaches by being SO hateful. I'll pray for them as I do everyday. Have a wonderful day and God bless!

Religions by their very nature lie close to the core of our being. People in general don't like being told that their fundamental belief that they've based their life on is wrong.
That was the logical, reasoned answer. Here's the answer based on my belief system. Feel free to ignore if you so desire.
Just to get a perspective of where I'm coming from here... I have been a Christian my whole life, but I have friends from other religious backgrounds as well. I have gotten into discussions with them, but I have never tried to force my religion on anyone or gotten angry over their differing beliefs. Christians are told to "love your neighbor as yourself", and everyone is our neighbor no matter what their religion. Those who claim to be Christians would do well to remember this. And for everyone else, it's a pretty basic idea that would make the world a nicer place, might not be a bad thing for you to believe too.
So far in my experience, though, it is those who attack Christianity or other religions that are usually (but not always) the angry ones. According to my beliefs (which I know everyone reading might not agree with), humans have an innate longing to be with God, and those who ignore Him suppress a fundamental part of being human. To me, that's why they're so angry. Ever try to defend a position you know in your heart is wrong? It's so easy to get defensive in that situation. (And I just KNOW that answer is going to generate a lot of anger. ;-) But hopefully one person out there will find it thought-provoking as well and ask precisely why they're angry.)

People have evolved tough egos in order to survive in this world. It's not easy allowing God into your life. It's a different mindset.
Some of the Christians here could do a better job of presenting God, though. They need to remember that Christians must set a good example for everyone.
I think God is working on people here, though. The angry ones feel a need to be confrontational, but why here? Maybe they really want to talk to someone about these things that bother them.
Why all the pagans? They're feeling self-righteous, and are looking for supporters to assauge their doubts.
Why all the atheists? The atheists need to project their anger. They don't disbelieve, they reject. They too, want someone to talk to.
The Muslims? much like the pagans, I suspect. They have years of cultural conditioning to overcome, though.
No need to fight. God loves us all. We're all sinners, and we've all fallen short. We have nothing to lose by allowing Him into our lives...only our own egos.

As a teacher, it makes me angry to see people try to spread misinformation in the form of religion without any form of rational argument.

your right, there are a lot of angry people in this section. I think a lot of it is fear of what they don't understand, and it's very sad. I really don't fight over what I believe, I try to explain what I know is true & pray they find the truth!

I guess the reason why some of them are angry is that they have not tasted the love of Jesus.
