Ok...well I believe I am loosing some of my really good friends because their is this girl who is spreading nasty rumors about me and she is telling my friends mean comments ( that supposedly come from me ) and I would never hurt my friends she is telling everyone That I slept with quite a few guys and I have never had sex in my life... how can I solve this ?

Well you can try defending yourself to your friends, but lets face it, popularity rules, and nobody's perfect. Try counter-subterfuge. Hide a recorder on you (many mp3 players have a record function that works quite well) and confront this friend of yours. Be sure to confront her not very angrily, despite how you may feel, because that will make her say less. If you start out with 'WHY? Why are you doing this to me?' she is more likely to answer the question, thereby revealing her lies on your recording, rather than simply deny it to the only other person who knows the truth besides her. HUMMM the only way u can fix it is by going up to this girl who's spreading rumors and have a recording device on you and ask her questions that will get her to confess she's lying.

if your "friends" believe this then maybe they dont know you as well as you think they do. forget about them. there are many more friends out there for you.
