I have been experiencing this for about two years now. I can't sleep all night unless I am completely drained....usually from not sleeping well 2 - 3 nights in a row plus tending to my 15 month old daughter.
You need to evaluate what is making you sad. Is your life not what you expected at this time in your life? Is someone putting you down? Is someone or something making you nervous or anxious? Perhaps talking about it, if you are willing to, with someone that you trust may help. If not, try some Melatonin which is non-habit forming. It's an herb that comes in a bottle in the pharmacy department of any discount retail store. Good Luck and sweet dreams!

if you drink laot of cafine that will do it. but you might have a sleeping problem so i would talk to your doctor. nad being sad could be depression but i really do not recoment medicine for that. it only hurts you in the long run because when you get off of it, you will be even more sad because you were just using a medicine to put fake happiness into you, try exersizing and maybe changing your diet of you dont eat that well. also meditate for 10 min a night just let your mind go i swear it will help, i do it when i cant sleep and my boyfriend is trying to sleep, i end up passing out right away

I used to have that problem and I still do, but If you distract yourself by thinking about something else it really helps...... But you should see a doctor or buy some sleeping pills if you think it's insomnia(because it could be and I know I probably didn't answer your question)

u will sleep when u get tired but don,t worry allot of people can,t sleep i sleep once a week 4 about 3r4 hours but i will sleep a nu ff when i,m dead but if u r worry ed u can talk 2 a doc

mild depression would be the first thing to think of. sometimes lonlyness or some deep dark secret or past event stays with you for a long time and subcontionsly upset you. it could be just stress or bad relationship or something.

You are anxious about something. Try taking some melatonin to help you sleep. It is natural and has no side effects.

Take some nyquil or tylenol sleep. Then ween yourself off it again, and you will reaquaint your sleep cycle.. I had the same problem when I came home from Iraq.
