Truth is the opposite of a lie. I really do not have a specific religion, I just read the Bible and see the truths that are in it, For example Jesus said what father that loves his son would give him a scorpion for an egg, That is a truth. Spare the rod and spoil the child. That is a truth. If you beat a child you will hurt it so it is better to spoil it. I just gave you truth and rationality, Maybe it does not go along with a church doctrine but it certainly goes with the Bible. One from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament, they both show truth and rational.

Who says the rational isn't? There are the testimonies of millions claiming the truth of the gospel, billions if you count those whos testimonies are recorded in scripture. That's what scripture is for, to bear testimony of the truths of the lord. You may claim things may be physically impossible, but I have seen the impossible happen, I have felt the Holy Ghost, and the Holy Ghost bears testimony to all who ask earnestly of the Lord and with desire to know the truth, that the gospel is true. I have seen miraculous things, and even if I hadn't I would still know the truth of the Lord

Love is not rational or logical either and yet it exists and flourishes. Faith is not a whole lot different. And each individual has a different view of what is the truth. It is all subjective.

Religion is "truth" (as near as they can tell) on matters that scientific fact is currently incapable of solving.
Do human beings have souls, for example? Science says that we're certainly intelligent animals, but can't detect the presence of a soul, while most religions out there say that human DO have souls, and that is (in al senses of the word) that.

Faith. If you do not understand this gospel principle in your spirit you won't ever get it. You are assuming that religion is devoid of rationality and logic. It's unfortunate you feel that way. I hope you will understand it someday.

logic and rationality are fine for math and science, have absolutely nothing to do with human emotions. Religious wars are the favorite pastime anywhere they haven't discovered Monday night football.

GOD Laws are made of three Books: The Old Testament, The new Testament and Quran as a conclusion all originated from the middle east. How can you understand GOD LAWS with out reading GOD Conclusion?
Look what God is saying about the issue:"Say: we believe in God and in what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma'il: Isaac, Jacob and The Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus and the Prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another, among them, and to God do we bow our will (in Islam)." (Qur'an, Al-Imran 3:84)

Read some of these books by investigator Lee Strobel. He's got plenty of logic and rationality to go around. It just may surprise you what you're missing out on.
