The vengeful-Rambo returning Jesus and other rapture events are kind of a fictional construct put together from separate parts of the Bible. Kind of a recent belief, relatively speaking. Highly popularized now, in fiction, I know.

Maybe you should read The Bible and find out how Jesus works and what He is about before you go around talking about Him in that manner. I take offense to anyone demoralizing my Jesus in that manner.

i suppose if i believed an invisible predator was out to get me i might be kinda bummed out too. or perhaps the belief that an evil invisible super being is stalking you makes you feel important. the belief.that a god wants you to serve him must be a nice ego boost too so i don't think humility is your problem.

How are you going to protect yourself from someone who can raise you from the dead if he so chose?

My suggestion: We get down on our knees, bow our heads, and let him sort the righteous from the unrightous.

Amen.
